Application of Simple Detection Algorithm with Decision Feedback and Optimization of Observation Interval at Transmission Rates Above the Nyquist Barrier

The article presents a description of an algorithm for detection of bandwidth-efficient signals with controlled intersymbol interference using the decision feedback method. The algorithm uses observation interval optimization, which allows minimizing the influence of subsequent signals when analyzing the received signal. Aspects of the practical application of this algorithm are considered. The article describes the implementation of the algorithm when using software-defined radio platforms NI USRP for transmitting and receiving over a wireless communication channel.
