Algorithm for Coherent Detection of Spectral-Efficient Signals with Decision Feedback and Extended Observation Interval

The article provides a derivation and description of an algorithm for detection of spectral-efficient signals with controlled intersymbol interference. The presented algorithm is based on a common technique with decision feedback, however, unlike known approaches, it assumes modification by expanding the observation interval. This allows us to use estimates of signals subsequent in the sequence using a method other than direct averaging according to the maximum likelihood criterion.
