On Interrupt Location Design for Vehicular Platoon via Eigenvalue Constraint

The development of automatic driving functions is currently active. Vehicle platoon control is expected to improve fuel efficiency and reduce traffic congestion by enabling vehicles to travel via V2V communication between vehicles. When a platoon of vehicles is running in formation, interruptions by vehicles outside the platoon may occur. When an interruption occurs, the vehicles in the platoon are affected by speed fluctuations and other effects, which vary depending on the location of the interruption. In this study, the eigenvalue constraint is used to design the location of the interrupter for the platoon of vehicles.
