Comparative Analysis of Energy Efficiency of Geometric Constructions Solar Low-power Plants

The purpose of the research is to determine the dependence of the energy efficiency of low-power solar power plants on the peculiarities of their construction, made in the form of geometric structures. The research was carried out using the theory of analytical calculations and mathematical modelling of electricity generation processes at solar power plants with consideration of climatic indicators. The article considers the issues of peculiarities of construction of low-power photovoltaic power plants when combining solar panels into different geometric structures in order to identify the most productive option. An analysis of the general indicators and factors influencing the productivity of electricity generation by solar panels is carried out and the most significant ones are identified, which should be taken into account when geometrising structures. A comparative analysis of the geometric structures of the solar panel combination is carried out and recommendations are made on the feasibility of using the considered samples in order to increase the reliability and energy efficiency of electricity supply to consumers. A mathematical model of a solar power plant has been developed, which is as close as possible to real operating conditions due to the consideration of such factors influencing its energy efficiency as the level of solar insolation, the angle of inclination of the PV modules, the surface area of the PV modules, the heating temperature of the panel surface, and the level of panel shading. The use of the proposed mathematical model made it possible to compare the operating parameters of low-power solar power plants of the considered geometric structures, which proved the higher performance of the solar power plant made in the form of a multifaceted pyramid.
