Speed Optimization Algorithm with Refined Prediction of Jerk for Electric Drive Control System

Restrictions on intermediate coordinates contribute to the optimization of systems in terms of speed. But in most design solutions for electric drive control systems, the jerk is not a stabilized coordinate, which makes it difficult to predict motion trajectories and prevents strict optimization in the time domain. In this study, a refined jerk prediction procedure based on detailed electric drive transient diagrams is considered, the idea of which is to determine the equivalent constant jerk for power converter voltage constant intervals. With its use, an algorithm for the synthesis of a time-optimal sliding mode control system based on the N-i switching method was constructed. The efficiency of adaptation of the synthesis algorithm to different profiles of transient diagrams is demonstrated by examples of its implementation.
