Design Background Considerations of the Autonomous Power Supply System for Drones

The development of intelligent technologies, communication systems, modern information and measurement equipment and multi-copter drones make it possible to create an organized systems capable of performing various tasks, including creating mobile systems for adaptive protection of critical infrastructure objects. The use of renewable energy sources and wireless energy transfer systems makes it possible to place an autonomous power supply systems for battery recharging in hard-to-reach places in the absence of stationary system and without the need for direct human presence. The autonomous power supply systems for drones are considered in this work. The structures of the onboard power supply and the general system have been proposed. The main discussions based on the consideration of such design have been provided for further developments.
