Use Of Solar Cogeneration Modules For Charging Batteries Of Electric Vehicles

The paper explores the problem of the possibility of creating local energy networks for charging batteries of electric vehicles at existing stationary gas stations based on renewable sources, to save energy from traditional energy sources. It is proposed to create such networks based on efficient solar power plants (SPP), which are installed on a roof of an administration building of a gas station.To substantiate the possibility of using SPPs for charging batteries of electric vehicles at a gas station, a correlation analysis of the daily load schedules of three private SPPs installed on the roofs of private buildings located next to the “WOG” gas station in Zaporizhzhia and the daily load schedules of the “WOG” gas station were carried out. Experimental daily load schedules of private SPPs and gas stations “WOG” were obtained for three working days in April 2023. Pearson’s pair correlation coefficients for the light day between equivalent daily load schedules of rooftop SPPs and daily load schedules of “WOG” gas stations were determined, which have high values, that is, we have a high correlation. The conducted research made it possible to conclude the possibility of using rooftop SPPs for charging batteries of electric cars at stationary gas stations.To increase the overall efficiency of SPPs, instead of traditional flat solar cells, it is proposed to use SPPs with cogeneration photovoltaic modules of cylindrical shape cooled by liquid. This will make it possible to obtain electric and thermal energy for economic needs at the same time.The obtained values of Pearson’s pair correlation coefficients of daily load schedules SPPs and gas stations have high values, which makes it possible to assert the possibility of using SPPs at gas stations to charge batteries of electric vehicles.
