A multidimensional framework to study the clinical decision support system

Clinical decision support systems (CDSS) have become incredibly important in the healthcare sector as a result of their immense usefulness.Traditional approaches, which rely on a doctor’s knowledge and facts at hand, are not always sufficient, especially when a patient’s case is complicated. A clinical decision support system is required to consider all the relevant elements and assist clinicians in making judgments more quickly and effectively.The paper introduces a well-organized framework for evaluating CDSS. It proceeds to assess various research studies found in the literature using this framework. Through this evaluation, problems related to CDSS are identified, which could serve as a starting point for possible future research opportunities.
