Further results on delay dependent robust stability criteria for T-S fuzzy systems with state delay

This paper aims to address the issue of delay dependent stability in nonlinear Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with interval-time-varying delays. The authors suggest a model transformation using a three terms approximation of delayed state variables. They also apply a scaled small gain (SSG) theorem and a novel Lyapunov Krasovskii functional (LKF) to derive stability criteria in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The performance of the approach is demonstrated through numerical examples and compared with previous works.
