Distributed Mobility Management With Tunneled And Tunnel Free Approach: A Compressive Literature Review

Because of the rise in popularity of mobile devices and the rising demand for high-quality multimedia content, mobile node traffic and mobile Internet data have increased dramatically in recent years. Distributed mobility management (D.M.M.) is usually viewed as a solution to the issues brought on by centralized mobility management (C.M.M.).The effectiveness of the current Distributed Mobility Management IP version 6 mobility management protocols Comparing tunneled versus tunnel-free approaches from the angles of handover delay, blocking probability, along with packet loss. Comparative analysis shows that the tunnel-free DMM method performs better by reducing - 1. Handover-latency, 2.handover-blockingprobability 3. Data-packet-loss. Also, the Handover delay and Average propagation delay are observed in the simulation.
