Evaluating the Impact of No-Code/Low-Code Backend Services on API Development and Implementation: A Case Study Approach

Backend development requires a lot of boilerplates, and technical terms are difficult for everyone to understand. We are developing a platform where users can easily establish their backend endpoints and publish their code in order to address this issue. The goal of this project is to assist those who lack technical expertise yet desire to develop a backend for their projects, products, etc. A user can easily create their own backend logic with the use of a simple user interface, such as Scratch (a simple learning tool to assist people to learn to program). Using a drag-and-drop interface, the author is creating a backend service. These services offer pre-built blocks, templates, or drag-and-drop interfaces for users to utilize in order to create their own backend services, such as APIs, without having to write any code.
