Functional Model of the Clinical and Hematological Syndromes Diagnosis

The purpose of this article is to show that the existing modeling language, Integration Definition for Function Modeling (IDEF0), is applicable for structuring and automating the process of diagnosing clinical hematological syndrome. This method comprehensively analyzes the process of diagnosing the disease. Process decomposition helps to consider the relationship between its internal functions and the relationship with external elements. The developed functional model, being the basis of the structure of the medical decision-making system, leads to increased efficiency of the process of diagnosing anemia and minimizing medical errors.
