Enhancing Industrial Safety: Implementation of an Embedded-Based Generator Alert System in Industries

In today’s society, both electrical power demand and energy consumption are expanding at a rapid rate. Unfortunately, the development of power plants has been postponed and power transmission capacity has been reached. As a result, efforts have been made to identify innovative ways to reduce huge amount of power by providing a part of the energy requirements domestically through the deployment of Distributed Energy Resources (DER). The online automation system allows users to control the system even when they are not physically there. The fuel system, lubrication system, cooling system, and exhaust system include emergency generator maintenance checklists. The user must prepare for the operation and maintain the emergency generator. Since, it requires remote monitoring and control technologies due to the absence of a local field administrator. From this when any temperature, oil, fuel values get exceed then it will get indicated through microcontroller and set range of temperature, oil, fuel according to need of requirement. GSM modem is used for notification through the mobile if anyone of these values get exceeds. so, if any value is getting exceed according to that can modify or go through maintenance. The main objective of this work is to solve the problem of exceeding the value of fuel, oil, temperature. This work will send the notification to fix the problem and it will help owner as well worker to avoid short circuit and any fault during working conditions.
