An Eco-Friendly Smartphone-Charging Locker with a Solar Panel and Multi-Factor Authentication

The need to be constantly connected to the internet while being outside has become the new norm. As a result, people cannot afford to have a dead phone battery in the middle of the day. This project aims to solve the dead phone battery problem by proposing charging lockers using solar panels to charge the smartphones. The system consists of a wooden locker, solar panel, a solenoid lock, Arduino microcontroller, keypad as well as a fingerprint scanner. Controlled by the C-programmed Arduino microcontroller, the system utilizes solar energy to charge smartphones and offers a secure lock that is controlled by input from a keypad, and a fingerprint scanner.
