Modal Amplitudes of Electromagnetic Fields in a Conical Cavity: A Novel Approach

The aim of this study is to add to the current advancements in the study of microwave resonant cavities by presenting an analytical solution in the time domain for electromagnetic fields in regular conical lines that share a common apex. The solution is derived by employing the evolutionary approach to electrodynamics (EAE) and incorporating the newly proposed format of Maxwell’s equations in SI units.
