Efficient Data Encryption and Signature Generation Scheme for Resource-Constrained IoT Environments

In the proposed work, a unique method for ensuring the safety of healthcare data collected by Internet of Things (IoT) devices is presented. The use of certificateless cryptography using public keys is essential because IoT devices have constrained computational power and transmission capacity. This reduces system overhead.. The proposed scheme is built upon the Enhanced Signcryption Algorithm, integrating it with a Certificateless Secured Signature Scheme to achieve encryption and hashing in a single logical step. The scheme's architecture aims to provide a robust security framework for protecting sensitive healthcare data collected by IoT devices. By utilizing certificateless public key cryptography, the scheme optimizes computational efficiency and reduces communication overhead, making it well-suited for resource-constrained IoT environments. Through the integration of Enhanced Signcryption and the Certificateless Secured Signature Scheme, the proposed scheme ensures seamless and efficient data protection, encrypting and hashing healthcare data in a unified process. This integration guarantees the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of the data, safeguarding it from unauthorized access and tampering. The proposed scheme's efficacy is evaluated through various experiments and simulations to assess its performance in real-world scenarios.
