Contact Force Model of Pantograph Catenary System with Improved Coupled Simulated Annealing Least Squares Support Vector Machine

With the complexity and nonlinearity of the pantograph-catenary system of rail transit, the contact relationship between the pantograph and catenary affects the flow quality of the train directly. In this paper, in order to react to the dynamic behavior of the pantograph-catenary contact force effectively, this paper presents a pantograph-catenary model method with the improved Coupled Simulated Annealing least squares support vector machine (CSA-LSSVM), which is used to identify and optimize the hyperparameters in the model. This method improves the characteristics of difficulty in determining hyper-parameters in the model, slow optimization speed, etc. The results show that the improved CSA-LSSVM modeling method has higher prediction accuracy, which proves that the method is effective for modeling the contact force of the pantograph-catenary system. Meanwhile, the method not only reflects the dynamic behavior of the contact force but also provides a new method for studying the pantograph-catenary system.
