IOT and Sensor Based Technique to Track and Monitor the Work of the Street Sweepers

To inform the public about environmental issues, scientists are developing portable sensors. However, data collection alone is insufficient for effective environmental action. This study emphasizes the proposed innovative environmental sensing technology, which is currently being utilized on street sweepers in an American metropolis. The proposed product was informed by industry executives' requirements and refined as an environmental action project through consultation. This article examines the environmental action landscape qualitatively to better equip innovators to design efficient technological solutions. Current environmental initiatives, the environmental effects of street cleansing, and related research on environmental sensing technologies are examined. The proposed research has implications for design fieldwork, sensor system performance evaluation, and ecological consciousness. Proposed innovation paves the path for environmental action by bridging the divide between observation and response.
