Wireless Information and Power Transfer technology: An analysis

With the rapid development of wireless networks, simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer (SWIPT) technology has gained widespread attention due to its advantages of security, convenience, and reliability. The purpose of this technology is to use a comprehensive set of equipment, allowing the receiving equipment of the system to synchronously receive both energy and transmitted information. This paper classifies SWIPT technology according to the principle of energy and information transmission, reviews the research trends and development status of this technology, and summarizes its application scenarios. Finally, the development trend and main technical challenges of this technology are discussed. SWIPT technology has received significant investment and extensive attention from international scientists, resulting in a series of notable advances. Currently, wireless energy-information synchronous transmission technology has been applied in various fields, including wireless charging, air purification, and smart homes.
