Survey on various Feature Detection and Feature Selection Methods using Retinopathy Images

Diabetes occurs when a human body fails to process the sugar intake. The root cause of this elevated blood sugar (glucose) levels. Hyperglycemia is the medical term for this circumstance. The body is unable to produce enough insulin when it happens. The primary cause is the body's failure to respond to insulin. Although it cannot be eliminated, it can be managed. Diabetes may lead to heart attacks, renal problems, nerve damage, and blood clots. According to data from 2022, recent research estimates that 8.8% of the world's population has diabetes. This percentage is expected to rise to 9.9% in the upcoming years. A computer-aided diagnosis method may lessen inter and intraobserver variability and greatly lessen the strain on ophthalmologists. The approaches for various retinal feature extractions and selection analyses are covered in this review.
