Structural design and research of symmetrical Ytube under cold and hot mixed flow

Y-type pipe is mainly used in water transmission pipe fittings. The improper design of structure parameters can easily lead to the erosion and erosion of internal structure, resulting in large pressure loss. Therefore, the analysis of flow field in Y-shaped pipe is particularly important. In this paper, the standard turbulence model is used to simulate the mixing of hot and cold in Y-type pipes by Fluent software, the influence of different incident angle and flow rate on the flow field in Y-shaped pipe, and the stress and deformation of the pipe under fluid load are studied. The relationship between the pressure drop and the incident angle, and the flow field in the tube at different flow rates are obtained by numerical analysis. The results show that when the angle of incidence is 60 degrees, the temperature of each analytical point is stable, and the maximum stress of the pipeline under the action of fluid load is 674.55 MPa, which does not exceed the allowable stress of the material and meets the relevant requirements.
