Systematic Literature Review of Social Media interactions

Context: Social Media Influence (SMI) constitutes a marketing term resulting from the integration of social media in the strategies planification, that describes the Social Media Influencers (SMIs) ability to influence other people’s feeling , thinking and characteristic in the community.Purpose: In this work, our goal is to highlights the social media influence. Thus, we aim to classify techniques used to analyse the users data in social media. Then, identify the different purposes of these analysis techniques and address the influencers/followers interactions.Methods: To address this problem, we proposed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) in which we proposed three research questions to respond to our goal mentioned above.Results: After the selection process, we obtained 55 research studies between 2000 and 2020. Based on these papers, we presented different analysis techniques of users’ data in social media and the different purposes of using these analysis techniques. Then, we discussed the influencers/followers interactions as an analysis purpose. We summarized the analysis models, the analysis purposes, the search fields and platforms related to analysis purposes using different types of histograms.Conclusion: It is concluded that addressing influencers/followers interactions is the most popular purpose of analysing social media users data. Also, it changes according to the influence field and the used platform.
