A Cost-Effective Solar-Based Automatic Water Purifier

In this research work, a cost-effective solar-based automatic water purifier is designed, developed, and tested. The water purifier consists of three units: a generation unit, a purification unit, and an automatic dispensing unit. The water purifier is powered using Solar energy which ensures that it is environment-friendly. The cost of the purification unit is reduced significantly as compared to the traditional purification unit which is available in the market. Also, there is an automatic dispensing unit to ensure that there is no cross-contamination. There are some places in India which experience severe water shortage. According to various reports, water tankers reach the affected areas after several days, and the quality of water is not up to the mark. Considering the aforementioned situations, in this paper, a cost-effective solar-based automatic water purifier has been developed. Overall, the proposed work turned out to be efficient and cost-effective.
