Design of deployable structure of bionic space mesh antenna

The application fields of space mesh antennas cover mobile communication, electronic detection, signal relay, remote sensing, navigation, deep space exploration, etc. The rapid development of bionics provides a certain research basis for the diversification of mechanical structures. By exploring the folding process of flying biological wings, the bionic space mesh antenna deployable structure including drive structure, drive structure, spring hinge, repeatable self-locking/releasing structure, bionic rod and reflective surface is designed with the reference object of traditional rigid rib antenna, and by studying the effects of $\alpha$0, LAE and LPA on the folding ratio and the effects of the stroke percentage of ball screw sub on the frame mass, it is determined that: $\alpha_{0}$=$\pi$/90, LPA=5 mm, the length share of ball screw sub is 70$\sim$80%, the sum of ball screw sub length and deployable frame length is 1000±200 mm, and the specific parameters of deployable structure are initially solved to complete the 3D modeling and motion simulation. The antenna designed in this paper has a double-node support rigid rib structure with good scalability, and the arrangement of rotating nodes further improves the stability of the overall system, and this study further enriches the structural research of space antenna.
