Hardware Circuit Design of Multi-Purpose Controller for Engine Control System

The diesel engine is the main power plant of a ship. Retraining marine engineers on diesel engines holds significant importance in maintaining the safety of navigation. At present, in the onshore engine room where Marine engineers are trained, the diesel engine mostly uses the real object, which has the problems of high pollution and high cost. To address these issues, this paper introduces an Engine Control System and designs a Multi-Purpose Controller using AD23, which is used for signal receiving, processing, and sending. The system not only provides a simulated environment for diesel engines but also offers interactivity and real-time capabilities. Through this system, Marine engineers can perform various operation and maintenance tasks in a virtual environment.
