Multidimensional radiation analysis for the fusion ignition experiment IGNITEX

Multidimensional radiation analyses for the Fusion Ignition Experiment (IGNITEX) have been performed using the Monte Carlo Neutron Photon code. The results of these analyses are presented, including heating rates and radiation levels at various regions in the device and levels of radiation streaming through penetrations. Results of the calculations show that the radiation environment in most regions inside the primary shield will have a significant impact on the design, operation, and maintenance of the device.<>
