Sub-6 Ghz Rotman Lens for Underground Mines Using Machine Learning

The paper introduces a new approach of using machine learning in the design of a sub-6 Ghz Rotman lens for underground mine applications. The lens, optimized through machine learning technique, showed good results in terms of insertion losses. The design is optimized to operate in the sub-6 GHz frequency range, especially at the 3.5 GHz band. In order to be employed in underground mining. The final lens structure and port placement were both generated using machine learning.
