Speed control mechanism for electric motor EV in MATLAB Simulink

DC motors have caught the interest of many manufacturers of industrial and home appliances due to their high efficiency, high power density, and minimal maintenance requirements. Magnetic materials and power electronics have seen tremendous growth in their application in hybrid electric vehicles as a result of years of study and development in these industries. This paper uses MATLAB and SIMULINK to describe the DC motor driven system speed control mechanism in a vehicle body via brake assembly and to demonstrate the speed test of the vehicle and the way it reacts. Four case studies are done with the same configuration but using different application functions. Different simulation studies are done to evaluate the model. Along with these, test results indicate the model's performance graphically.
