On resource allocation in asynchronous CDMA channels

We consider a symbol-asynchronous CDMA (A-CDMA) channel equipped with a bank of matched filters. The lack of synchronism is modeled by users' relative time offsets that are assumed to be independent random variables uniformly distributed on the symbol interval. In the analysis, we confine our attention to polyphase sequences and assume chip-synchronism.
