Electric Reaping and Fertilizing Machine

Agriculture is the backbone of the country, and both the central and state governments heavily rely on it as the primary source of income. It involves cultivating the soil to grow crops, processing plant and animal products for human use, and distributing them to various markets. However, farming practices largely rely on outdated techniques, such as using sickles and scythes, which consume more time and financial resources. For instance, the reaping process (also known as weeding) can take 5–6 hours or even a whole day of work and cost around 5–6 thousand rupees for a farmer to reap one acre of land. To address this issue, introducing a research work called the “Electric Reaping and Fertilizing Machine.” The proposed machine is powered by electricity from a battery. With this machine, one acre of land can be reaped in just one hour at a cost of only 15–18 rupees. By utilizing this machine, farmers will be able to work more efficiently, saving time and reducing expenses. Moreover, it can serve multiple purposes, including reaping the soil, fertilization, and transporting weighted materials used in farming.
