A Review of Various Water Quality Prediction Models and Techniques

Prediction of water quality due to certain parameters and its impact on health is an important topic, especially for a region like Uttarakhand, where water plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance. But lately, the quality of the water has begun to degrade by the various parameters, therefore this learning aims to find how the parameters such as “temperature, pH level, ions, nutrients, bacteria, and many other factors” have an impact on water health as well as on human health using various AI and ML techniques as understanding how these parameters hamper the overall condition of water can help us to monitor the behaviour of water itself. So, by studying AI and ML techniques used on a vast number of datasets present, the underlying patterns between the water and its parameter are evaluated. This comparative analysis will provide us with many valuable insights. The outcomes of this study will provide us with much information that will help us tackle the issue of water quality degradation and manage the water sources as well, not only in Uttarakhand but in other regions. The Ultimate goal of this study is to provide deeper information on the quality of water, its impact on health, and its behaviour due to certain parameters which in the future will support many decision-making, and prediction models.
