The Implementation of Mobile Application Ordering System to Optimize The User Experience of Food and Beverage Industry

Nowadays, online ordering has become a fairly widespread phenomenon, and consumers are aiming for efficient buying experiences. This study will cover the problems with online ordering that businesses encounter, as well as the problems with emailing order confirmations and the inability to send messages to several users at once. These problems will be resolved by creating a smartphone application for ordering food online. Due to the prevalence of smartphones and people’s preference for using their phones for tasks, this study will be focusing on implementing mobile application ordering system to optimize the user experience of food and beverage industry. After the mobile application has been developed, it is made available to Android users for download and testing of the user interface and email functions. As part of user interface and functional testing, the team will locate a few respondents who have not utilized the mobile application. The team will distribute surveys on the user experience to respondents after the users have finished the test so they can offer feedback. This survey is meant to check if the mobile application could perform all related email-blast tasks, including properly sending and receiving emails to multiple users at once, and can live up to user expectations for order confirmation. A user satisfaction survey is conducted to record the user’s perceptions of the usability, usefulness, and satisfaction of the mobile application’s features. The online ordering function will be applicable to all types of businesses, allowing them to improve their performance and expand their popularity.
