Simulation of Terahertz Communication in Vehicular Network

With the advancement in wireless technologies, all are moving into the world with much higher data rates than now. The devices will communicate at much higher data rates and very low latency. With 5G already being deployed in many countries around the world, everyone move towards Terahertz communication which is envisioned to be the base of 6G and beyond wireless systems. One of the application that comes up with the Terahertz communication is Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication as there will be development in automobile technology and there soon will be self-driving and efficient cars on the road. It becomes important to have a network for these vehicles to communicate to each other on the road. This paper studies about the Terahertz Communication and its challenges along with Vehicle Ad Hoc Network (VANET). It also implements the possibility of simulating a Terahertz network with VANET in ns-3. This simulation will help to develop various protocols for VANET in a Terahertz network.
