Design of a Communication Base Station Monitoring System Based on RCS in Smart City Scenario

With the arrival of 5G era and the vigorous development and construction of smart city infrastructure, the coverage of a single base station becomes smaller, so it needs to be covered by a dense base station. As the infrastructure of wireless communication, communication base station plays an important role in the communication process. At present, for the monitoring of the environment of the communication base station room, the patrol personnel are mainly on duty, which is a waste of manpower and a high cost of personnel. This paper proposes a design method of communication base station monitoring system based on RCS technology. Using RCS fusion communication technology, through the three-level architecture of sensing terminal, edge gateway and monitoring center, the alarm data is collected, analyzed and processed by the edge gateway through RCS information, and then reported to the monitoring center and the processing information is distributed to the base station patrol personnel in real time. The terminal can still receive the alarm information in the form of short message when it is not connected to the network, so that the user can know the dangerous situation monitored by the monitoring system in time and improve the monitoring effect.
