IoT Based Home Intruder Alerting System

The Internet of Things (IoT) addssecurity to our daily lives. Technology helps us in security, ease of use, comfort and seclusion. Smartphones can also be used as a security alert device as the Smartphone is the most widely-used smart device in the world. In this work, we developed a smart home security system, in which, Arduino UNO acts as a security system which to record videos and capture images. The system has the capability to notify the user in case of any emergency by sound an alarm when an unauthorised person tries to enter inside the house. The GSM module sends a message to the admin giving them access to a web address to view the live stream of the camera placed on the door, for which we will be using an android device. This will enable the admin to take pictures of the intruder and use for future purposes. If he is a delivery boy then the system allows us to interact with the person accessing the android device’s mic and camera through an existing android application.
