Design and Implementation of a LoRa-based Home Monitoring System with Heltec ESP32 Gateway

The design and implementation of a smart home monitoring system using LoRa and a Heltec ESP32 gateway are presented in this paper. The suggested system uses several LoRa-based sensors dispersed throughout a house to track various environmental factors like temperature, humidity, and air pressure. The Heltec ESP32 gateway, which serves as the system's hub, receives the sensor data wirelessly after being gathered. The gateway processes the sensor data, stores it in a database, and provides the user with real-time monitoring and control capabilities via a web-based interface. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system through experimental evaluations in a simulated home environment.
