Model-driven development of a querying instrument for industrial PV inverters

For optimization of the monitoring and control of the PV on-grid inverters a model- driven engineering methodology have been applied to designing a software for querying the interface of the industrial inverters used for energy production from solar panels. Our proposed method is a key artifact in combining process, economical, and regulation implications. This alternative software has been designed for allowing local and centralized monitoring and control of the inverters. The architecture uses cloud- based standard data models for information exchanging, the database uses only 24 hours of historical data, and its main purpose is to synchronize produced power from different inverters, according with the amount of local loads demands. It is intended to be used in the smart grid implementation under the local regulation of countries. It has been tested under the ANRE (Romanian regulatory body) constraining rules, for two solar plants of 400 kW, and three different inverters.
