On the Problem of a Physics Teacher Readiness for Professional and Pedagogical Activities in the Conditions of Higher Education Digitalization

The current state of the readiness of a physics teacher for professional and pedagogical activities in the context of the rapid growth of information technologies and the development of electronic information opportunities among university students are analyzed in the article. A review of scientific and methodological literature is being carried out on the concept of “readiness for professional and pedagogical activity” the concept of readiness of professional and pedagogical activity is being specified in relation to a physics teacher who implements educational programs of specialization in universities based on the use of modern electronic information technologies. The article concludes that modern digitalization, against the background of huge opportunities for creativity and the manifestation of pedagogical skill in creating electronic educational resources in physics, creates colossal problems that can be solved if the physics teacher is ready to work in digital mode. An example of methodological developments in physics created by physics teachers for training students based on the use of modern information technologies is also given.
