Escalate the Returns With ML-Based Technical Analysis: Next Day Closing Price Prediction Using RNN and LSTM Models

One of the subjects that has been studied the most is stock price forecasting, which is attracting interest from both academia and business. This is also an active area of research and learning. Since the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), many algorithms have been developed to predict the stock market’s movement. Accurate stock price prediction can help with better decision making and in economy. Next day price prediction is much more useful for investors. However, this requires experience, knowledge, and proper education. This article implements two advanced machine learning models such as RNN and LSTM to predict the next day stock prices. The data used in this work is the daily traded data for the stocks of HDFC bank and Infosys Ltd. It also investigates the future directions of research in this area.
