IoT based Volcano Multipara meter Surveillance Method

The island nation of Indonesia is part of The Circum-Pacific belt OR the Ring of Fire. Only sixty-nine of the one twenty-seven live volcanoes in the nation can now be monitored closely for eruption around-the-clock. Volcano surveillance becomes crucial in light of early warning systems and reduced risk for volcanic disasters. Numerous monitoring locations are therefore required because of the huge area and steep terrain contour of volcanoes. The cost of acquiring the instruments needed for the volcano surveillance will increase as the number of surveillance locations increases. As a result, efficient and effective monitoring technologies are needed. This study provides a method for monitoring an erupting volcano utilizing the Web of Things and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) (IoT). Our key objectives were to develop low voltage surveillance systems that are adaptable, quick to set up, easy to maintain, and energy-efficient. The IEEE 802.15.4 standard is used by this device's system for wireless communication. Lastly, this research shows how the suggested method may be used to detect multiple volcanic characteristics, including hydrogen-sulphide (H2S), carbon-monoxide (CO), crater temp, pH, and seismicity.
