A sustainable Hydroponic development using an IOT-based deep water culture system

In recent years hydroponics emerged as the important component for sustainable expansions without causing careless destruction and water contamination which permits businesses to adopt sustainable methods aligning with technology resources leading to economic boost. The Covid-19 epidemic had a significant influence not only on health-related issues but also on the environment and the global economy. This project focuses on the conservation of resources and control mechanism to promote sustainable development. An IoT based feedback system is employed. The system consists of water level, pH and temperature control methods that acts as a backbone to maintain high accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability. Growth of the plants are controlled using IoT based proposed system. A renewable energy generation is adopted with the use of solar panels and system. The system uses 70-90% less water compared to the conventional farming techniques. This paper demonstrates the versatile idea helpful for building an IoT based hydroponic garden in a community area through a combination of hardware setup and a coding tool that recreates the plant's growth flight, health, and water efficient mechanism.
