IoT enabled Vehicles Auto Kids Recognition System

Recently many cases have been reported of children left behind or forgotten in locked vehicles due to unforeseen circumstances such forgetfulness, distractions, stress, and nervousness. In this study an intelligent recognition system for detecting kids present in vehicles has been developed as an important safety system. the system is used to detect the present of a child in locked cars and put forward both a warning and procedural protocol for child safety. The integrated embedded platform of Arduino is being used to design and implement the system with IoT control. Various sensing mechanisms and control features are used. A prototype of the system is developed empirically and simulation results are presented. The developed system is definitely a big step in enhancing the safety and protection features in the vehicle, which in turn, help to save the lives of many children who could be under the risk of heat stroke and exhaustion.
