Intelligent Car Control System Based on Image Recognition

This paper designs and makes an auto-following smart car system with camera, which is composed of six modules: STM32F103ZET6 microprocessor, camera module, ultrasonic obstacle avoidance module, OLED display module, L298N motor drive module and power module. The measured object is recognized by the camera module. When the object is recognized, the information of the area where the object is located is judged and sent to the microprocessor. The microprocessor receives the data and sends the command to control the car movement and avoid obstacles together to realize the car object tracking function. The system can meet the technical indicators after testing. Its main advantages are multi-function, low cost, and simple structure, which can be widely used in complex industrial scenes and military activities.
