Tunable design of OTA2-C2 Low Pass Filter using CMOS Technology: An Innovative Approach

An active low-pass(Gm-C) filter with 0.6 V, 0.9 V, 1V and 5V supply voltages are analyzed where the primary portion of the device filter is a CMOS inverter. CMOS inverters are used in design and simulation of Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) which results in less power. The common mode feedback and feedforward networks were involved with tunable devices to enhance the DC gain of voltage, bandwidth and also, accordingly to improve the linear property. The circuit is designed, simulated and analyzed using a technology named CMOS. The processed filter should able to achieve low power which will be a promising application for audio devices, broadband communications, because of its widely tunable nature. The Multisim is the tool being used for simulation and analysis purpose to achieve results.
