Design of Clustering Algorithm for Energy Efficient and Secure WSN using Fuzzy Logic

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a collection of tiny nodes known as sensor nodes which are typically deployed in area to sense the environmental changes. The main concern with such networks with energy efficiency and the data transmission to be transmitted safely. In order to increase the lifespan of the sensor network, nodes are always energy constrained. The key solution to Energy Consumption problem is Clustering. The main concern with present clustering techniques is the selection of Cluster Head, which is trust worthy so that its energy does not get drained. As a result, a Clustering Algorithm for Energy Efficient and Secure WSN using Fuzzy Logic have been proposed in in the study for the selection of a trustworthy CL. Further based on the performance comparison with existing systems, proposed algorithm have performed better in terms of extending the network lifetime and enabling safe data transfer.
