Machine Learning based Intelligent Cyberbullying Avoidance System

Cyberbullying has been an arising phenomenon that is mentally affects people especially youth and widely addressed among several research communities. It is deemed to be an essential problem to be addressed to avoid harassment on social media. Filtering a cyberbullying text before it gets posted can be effective rather than taking actions after posting. In this regard, this research study proposes an intelligent system to detect a cyberbullying post using machine learning algorithms. The proposed system is experimented with three algorithms namely Naive Bayes (NB), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Neural Network (NN). The results achieved out of the study seems to be promising leading to higher accuracy in classifying a cyberbullying.
