Harmonic Resonance Characteristics Analysis of Train-Network Compling System Considering full modeling of AC-DC-AC Traction Drive System

In the electrified railway, harmonic resonance may occur in the train-traction network coupling system, which seriously affects the safe and stable operation of the train-network system. However, at present, the research on harmonic resonance phenomenon of the vehicle-grid coupling system mostly focuses on the impedance characteristics of the grid-side rectifier, while the resistance equivalence is adopted for the inverter and traction motor, which lacks the influence of the traction motor parameters on the harmonic resonance of the system. In this paper, the harmonic resonance phenomenon of electrified railway system are studied considering full system of AC-DC-AC traction drive. Firstly, the train-network coupling system is modeled with the consideration of the motor, and the train operation mechanism is analyzed. Then the harmonic resonance frequency of the vehicle-grid coupling system are analyzed according to the mathematical model. Finally, the simulation verifies the theoretical model analysis results. The results show that the model considering the full modeling of the AC-DC-AC traction drive system can accurately analyze the harmonic resonance characteristics of the vehicle-network coupling system, and provide ideas for reducing the resonance hazard.
