Security-based MetaHeuristic Energy Efficient Routing Protocol in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are now widely used as a result of recent advancements related to lower and data processing technology. WSNs are used by many sectors for a variety of purposes including supervision, data transfer, information gathering, and more. WSNs are employed to track and keep track of environmental changes. Managing resources in WSN is also essential. The network performance limitations of these reusable sensor nodes (SN) have been addressed in a number of ways by experts, but the main area of research still revolves around managing energy usage and preserving system throughput. The impacted nodes also appear to make the data more susceptible to security problems. Therefore, additional study issues surrounding its reliability on the unpredictable network. In this paper, a secure energy-efficient routing(SEER) protocol has been suggested to increase the WSN's energy efficiency. The suggested technique has been compared to the existing approach of Secure and Energy-Aware Heuristic-based Routing(SEHR) and Secure Energy Aware Meta-Heuristic Routing(SEAMHR) with regard to the throughput, energy usage and packet drop rate.
