In addition to temperature, it offers continuous monitoring of potentially hazardous gases such as CO, S, NH3, CH4, and LPG. The primary cause of mortality among miners is that, for whatever reason, miners fall to the ground and lose consciousness at the same time that they are not given the appropriate medical care at that time. If a person were to fall down for whatever reason, the system would send an emergency alert to the supervisor. This would allow the situation to be solved. There are certain employees who are not safety conscious, as shown by the fact that they are not wearing helmets or jackets. The implementation of a Limit switch allowed for the subsequent successful determination of whether or not a miner had removed his helmet or jacket.
