Research on Random Access Technology of Satellite Internet of Things

The Satellite Internet of Things (IoT) has become an important part of global interconnection, and its wide-area coverage is bound to generate massive access. According to the characteristics of satellite IoT terminal access, random access is suitable, but the current random access cannot solve the problem of serious collisions caused by massive access. With the deepening of research, contention resolution diversity slotted ALOHA (CRDSA) introducing interference cancellation has shown high transmission efficiency and network load pass rate. The subsequent research of CRDSA indicates the advantages of introducing interference cancellation protocol, but most of the research content focuses on the protocol level, and less attention is paid to implementing the physical layer. Therefore, this paper designs the physical layer implementation scheme of the CRDSA protocol for the short burst of the satellite IoT and discusses the applicability of CRDSA in the satellite IoT in depth based on the simulation results.
